FRiCK!
A coming-of-age film about belonging, difference, and the courage to live authentically.

FRiCK! is a neurodivergent Dazed and Confused for a new generation — made by and for Gen Z. With honesty, humor, and heart, the film explores what it feels like to grow up in a world that was not built for you, and the universal longing to be seen, heard, and accepted.

At the center of the story is Noah, a teenager who has spent his entire life off the grid, isolated from society and raised outside the systems, expectations, and social rules that shape most young people’s lives. When Child Protective Services removes him from his father’s care, Noah is suddenly placed with his estranged mother and thrown into a chaotic new world of TikTok, Instagram, parties, gossip, SAT prep, dating, friendship, and invisible social norms.

Trying to understand where he fits, Noah meets Jaxon — a magnetic, larger-than-life personality who seems to know exactly how to navigate the world Noah has just entered. Jaxon introduces him to a crew of misfits at the first big party of the year, and in one night, Noah makes more friends than he has made in his entire life.

As Noah experiences the highs and lows of adolescence for the first time, he must decide whether he can keep up with this new world — or whether it will bring out the worst in him.

Why This Story Matters

Tourette Syndrome is a major component of FRiCK!, and the creative team is working with Tourette advocates and partners to help ensure the film’s representation is authentic, thoughtful, and humanizing.

Too often, Tourette Syndrome and other neurodivergent experiences are misunderstood, misrepresented, or reduced to stereotypes. FRiCK! seeks to tell a different kind of story — one that does not define its characters by diagnosis, but instead reflects the deeply human experience of wanting to belong.

The film speaks to anyone who has ever felt isolated, different, or unsure of how to exist in a world that seems to come with rules everyone else already understands. Through Noah’s journey, FRiCK! reminds us that the desire for friendship, love, acceptance, and self-expression is universal.
