The Art of Elysium is an artist organization built on the idea that through service, art becomes a catalyst for social change.
We offer academic and community programming matching volunteer artists with communities in need. Artists work with The Art of Elysium’s program directors in their field to develop, or plug, into existing programs. Volunteer artist are then eligible for artist support services.
Artists volunteer. We support our artists.
Through service, our creative communities thrive.

The Importance of Our Team
Each program director is responsible for up to 10,000 community members per year, and hundreds of volunteer artists. We coordinate with communities to schedule and provide committed programming each week.
Many of the communities and organizations we work with have strict rules and regulations we must adhere to, from infection control to confidentiality regulations and safety protocols. We manage and facilitate these relationships for 110 workshops per month. We also assess all of the developmental needs of the people we serve and adapt projects to fit their developmental levels.
Our dedicated staff is composed of artists working full time to give back to communities in need. Providing a living wage for these artists reflects the core of The Art of Elysium’s mission to give back to artists who give.
Funding enables the cycle of giving, supporting a living wage for staff artists, as well as materials, time and development of our community programs, artist services and events.
